Hurricane situation

There are currently no active hurricanes in the Atlantic.

There are nonetheless two small areas of potential development; one in the northwest Caribbean with a moderate probability of forming a storm within the next week, then another off of the coast of Dominican Republic with a low probability of formation over the next seven days. Early indications show that conditions are not conducive to hurricane formation, for either area.

Twelve Capital continues to closely monitor relevant potential and actual catastrophe events and will issue specific updates on new major events that occur. Given the end of the Atlantic hurricane season is approaching, event updates will now be provided every second week.
