There is currently no hurricane activity in the Atlantic, and no tropical cyclone formation is expected during the next 7 days.

In the eastern Pacific Ocean, Tropical Storm Bud became only the second named storm of the season, in what is proving to be the slowest start to the season on record. Current forecasts have Bud weakening out in the ocean and not causing any threat of landfall.
