Twelve Capital Event Update
13 June 2022Hurricane situation
Tropical Storm Alex was the first named storm of the 2022 season on 3 June, being formed from the remnants of hurricane Agatha coming in from the eastern Pacific over Mexico. Alex made landfall in south-eastern Florida as a tropical storm on 4 June before then heading out into the Atlantic as a post-tropical storm. Given the low strength of the storm at landfall there will be no impact to any of the Twelve Capital positions.
There are currently no active storms in the Atlantic Basin and no hurricane formation is expected in the next five days.
Twelve Capital continues to closely monitor any catastrophe events and will issue specific updates on any relevant new major events that occur.
